2 PM — Havre de Grace Parade

All along Union Avenue.

9:30 PM — Havre de Grace Fireworks

Launched from a barge in the Susquehanna River, just off of Concord Point Park. Fireworks may be viewed all along the shoreline in Havre de Grace — and in many locations throughout the City.

Monday, July 4th, 2022 in Bel Air

6:45 AM — Flag ceremony at Bel Air High School, 100 Heighe St. This will feature Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 30; American Legion Post #39; Sgt. Alfred B. Hilton Memorial American Legion Post #55; and bugler Robert Hudson.

7 –11:30 AM — Pancake breakfast benefiting the Bel Air Bobcats Athletic Boosters at Bel Air High School, 100 Heighe St. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 7 and under and free for children younger than 2 years old.

8 AM — Flag raising at Rockfield Park, 501 E. Churchville Rd.

8:30 AM — Horseshoe pitching at Rockfield Park, 501 E. Churchville Rd. Registration at 8 a.m.

8:45 AM — Flag raising at Shamrock Park, 39 N. Hickory Ave.

9 AM-noon — Family-friendly competitions will take place in Shamrock Park, 39 N. Hickory Ave.

  • 9 AM — Water balloon toss. Registration at 8:30 a.m.
  • 10 AM — Bocce competition
  • 11 AM — Uncle Sam Says
  • 11:30 AM — Watermelon eating

10:45 AM — Flag ceremony at Bel Air Elementary School, 30 E. Lee St.

11 AM — Bicycle rodeo at Bel Air Elementary School, 30 E. Lee St. Hosted by the Bel Air Police Department, this event offers trophies for best-decorated bikes for boys and girls ages 5 and under; 6–8 years old; 9–10 years old; and 11–13 years old.

4–6 PM — Staging for the parade will take place at South Main Street and East MacPhail Road, near the entrance to Homestead-Wakefield Elementary School.

6 PM — July 4 Parade, from Idlewild at South Main Street to East Gordon at North Main Street.

9:30 PM — Fireworks over Rockfield Park, 501 E. Churchville Rd. The show will be visible from areas around town.

If the parade or fireworks are canceled due to the weather, they will not be rescheduled.
